No bacon
Good bagels but we were mysteriously disconnected when I asked for bacon.... Maybe he was offended. Yum

great bagels
I've been in Korea for two years and this is the first bagel I have had since I've been back in New York. Absolutely delicious, If your in the neighborhood and in the mood this is the spot. These bagels are no joke, authentic.

Great bagel place
this place is great. The bagels (although I was a skeptic at first) are far better than h+h. There eggwhite sandwiches are incredible and the tossed make it yourself salad too. The service is generally great with lots of friendly guys and they are always accomodating.

Not recommended
Went here and ordered take-out--veggie panini and bagel with cream cheese and lox. Not only was the food quality mediocre, the price was astounding. Almost $20 for two coffees and two (VERY) sub-par sandwiches. The panini bread tasted like cardboard and was inedible!

poor choice
We came here because of the good reviews. We ordered a panini and bagel with lox. The bread tasted like stale and the lox was terrible quality. Our coffee was watery and we paid $20 for everything, which is fine if the quality is good! Also, while waiting for our food to be made we got a look at the salads that were sitting in under the glass, and they didn't look fresh either. No impressed, we ate half of the food, and couldn't finish our coffees.

Not What I Expected (In a good way)
This place needs to change its signage. I never went in here because it looked, from the outside, like a bagel place you'd find in Penn Station or a mall somewhere in Virginia. Somewhere you'd get a bread product shaped like a ring that was a "bagel" in name only. But the day I finally stepped in here I was pleasantly surprised. It's a real, old fashioned Jewish dairy place with bagels, lox, whitefish salad, etc. etc. etc. The bagel I had was quite good, and their staff is friendly and efficient. The ambiance leaves something to be desired. But overall a good solid place.
