Great family place!
I usually go to this restaurant with my wife on the weekends. Their salmon sandwich is usually made to perfection and is mouth watering and not to mention fulfilling. The omelets are made to order is huge and I tend to help my wife finish it. Lots of food for the price. The staff is friendly and knows our order as soon as we walk in. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel.
I get the feeling that the owners of this fine restaurant are great people and understand what the "service culture" is all about. I've been patronizing this eatery as long as they--or their predecessors--have been there. However, I truly believe, that for reasons personal to the management, they are scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to service contact employees. One scenario: "Sir, the last Chinese cookie I bought here was stale." "I'll let you feel it next time." I responded: "Feel it yourself, and you won't be selling stale goods to a customer." He looked at me as though I was making life difficult for him. Yesterday, I bought two Chinese cookies. They both broke in his hands. I asked him what kind of deal he would give me for broken cookies, and he responded that there are no deals for broken cookies. Now, don't we all know...that in the good old United States of America, broken cookies usually sell for half price? I think so. Anyhow...Whoever owns this fine little eatery needs to pay their customer contact employees a bit more; so they can do their job with a bit of pride. Val

Thoroughly disappointing!
Not only did I have to wait an hour for one bagel, one sandwich, and one drink to be delivered 10 blocks away, but when it arrived, both were soaking wet from the rain. The delivery person did not think to close the plastic bag during his walk/bike to my apartment, so the napkins and paper around the food were completely soaked. The food, besides being damp and cold, was also disappointing. The bagel was below average, the panini was barely edible, and the smoothie went directly into the trashcan. I will definitely not order from this restaurant again, and am sorry that I did in the first place.

Awesome Bagels
This is the perfect place to eat if you want some great bagels! I recently moved to the UWS and was in search of a good breakfast joint.... This place is awesome. The bagels are huge and fulfilling. They also have a great salad bar where you can pick your own toppings! I would also recommend their omelets... Price wise, they are pretty cheap compared to other diners/restaurants in the area! Must try it yourself!

Not the best bagel in the UWS
Don't how this joint got 4 stars. One of the worst NYC bagels I've had. And the coffee is stale and burnt. There are better bagels in the area. Go if you want to eat generic bagels for high price.

Not Impressed
Having just moved to the UWS (which I've heard is bagel heaven), I was pretty excited to try out the local bagel place by my apartment. However, I was pretty disappointed. The man serving me was pretty surly and skimped a good deal on cream cheese. The bagels themselves were ok, not the best that I've had. Not sure if all the servers are like this or if it was just this one guy, but regardless, there are too many bagel shops in the UWS for me to deal with this. I won't be going back.
