I've been to this restaurant before, and there was some attitude from the staff, but the atmosphere and food were great, so we gave it another shot. We made a reservation the day of. We were the first people to arrive at the restaurant - no one else in the place. When we get to the host, they tell us we're on the waitlist (I was told I had definite reservations) They pull out folding chairs and table from the basement! No one else was in the restaurant yet! Needless to say, we walked out.

Since I am in my sixties, I obviously have eaten in quite a few restaurants in my time, but I must say that eating at 44&10 Hell's Kitchen has been an exhilerating experience. The food is fabulous, the wait staff could not do enough for my party of eight, the atmosphere was magnificent, the restroom magnificent. I can't wait to go again.

I've been to this restaurant 6 times since moving to Manhattan 6 months ago. The food is great, with a wide variety of trendy, appealing options (i.e. blue-cheese iceburg lettuce). The interior of the restaurant is beautiful - - attractive decorations, great lighting, nice outdoor eating, in-spite of the view across the street of the gas station! Best yet is the the owner, Scott, who takes time to engage all of his guests and makes sure they're having a good experience.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Saturday night around 9:00pm Without reservations we received a little attitude from the staff, but were seated outside. Our dinner was delicious! I had the lobster taco app. and a mango, tomato & feta chese salad which was excellent. My boyfriend had the filet mignon and was also very pleased.
