Great food. Great service. I have come here a bunch of times and I am never disappointed. Love the chopped salad. Short ribs are good too. Excellent choice for pre/post theater.

Ordered the beet and watercress appetizer which was not impressive but not terrible either. Then had the meatloaf... the meat tasted like it had been left out on the kitchen counter for days. When we complained they changed the order, but the second dish the crispy sea bass was more like oyster soup with sea bass garnish. What a waste of perfectly good fish! The food was not good and the prices super high. Haven't had such subpar meal in long time.

I had a birthday dinner here two years ago and I am in agreement with the reviewers who mentioned the Mac & Cheese...one of the best I've ever had. The ambiance is terrific as well....I liked the play of light & dark. Recommend this restaurant highly!!

I went with a group of 9 for brunch on Sunday and it was very nice. I called ahead weeks prior for reserved seating but still had to wait 15 mins for my table, but when finally being seated it was all made up by the great brunch menu, my group enjoyed what they order and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the 44x burger they have on the brunch menu, get it with bleu cheese yum, the waiters were super nice, even the customers themselves seemed to have a happy disposition so the experience as a whole was great and to top it off my group got free dessert!

What is it with the philosophy that designer chic equates to removing all attempts at soundproofing or noise reduction? This may save the restauranter money but does little for the comfort of his clientele. On airplanes nowadays passengers are supplied with 'noise reduction' headphones for their comfort - perhaps the 'designer led - save money' eateries should follow suit. We were hospitably welcomed by a delightful, albeit, theatrical front man, and enjoyed a splendid brunch, served with panache and style and at a most reasonable cost. But as the restaurant filled up the increasing noise level brought about a cessation in our own conversation. This was a pity as restaurants should be social hubs not noise machines.

We are not from the restaurant; not from the City--not even from the state but certainly know a good place when we eat there. It was fun from beginning to end. The waiter was great, the food an experience to quest after and the price so reasonable I paid it and left wondering if something was left off. The Pear Deuce drink, however, obscured my ability to question the check's total further. I overtipped the waiter and smiled. It is a value and experience to which we will return! Anyone who doesn't like their Saturday Brunch menu and food is either having a bad day or being pretentious. It is what it is--trendy, good food, adorable boys and, oh, did I mention the restroom on the main floor? Attention to detail at its best. This is where you judge a restaurant's management:the fresh orchids, the roses, the candles...you had me at the bathroom! We will return. The Hazlenut Brioche French Toast with Raspberry Compote was fantastic. The special Vermont Cheddar Omelet with Truffles, divine. The muffins to start the course were perfectly baked. Life is short,: go often!!

You have to be there like, everynight, to refer to the gas station across the street as the Hess station . . . Honest review is --great food, great staff minus the neurotic management team. If you're a local, you'll be a regular and treated like gold.
