Went for Sunday Brunch. Ate Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon, salmon lightly smoked and very fresh, and served with a mixed baby green salad on top. Salad dressing blended perfectly with the Hollandaise and egg yolk. Perfect sized portion not too much, but definitely filling. The meal washed down with Dragon Pearl Green Tea steeped to perfection. It took longer to walk from the Hotel than to get served. Wait staff monitored constantly, without hovering, removing dirty plates and filling empty glasses. Food served promptly. Decor modern with clean lines while still being comfortable usually places with this quality of elegance lack warmth and comfort. Luckily for the diner this place lacks in neither. For this reason, I rate a great value because the food, service, and decor deserve the price.

After reading reviews I decided to try this restaurant for myself and I wasn't disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious! The service was great - the owner came out after our meal and spoke with us for awhile. Very nice!! the atmosphere is very open with a lot of large windows and white decor. I look forward to eating here again!

This place has everything you could desire in a restaurant - outstanding food, brilliantly chic classy decor, an airy relaxed ambiance with an inability to ever seem crowded, cool friendly attentive servers/bartender in smart uniforms that accentuate the decor, an amazing tree-lined terrace in the back, bathrooms that belong in Archt'l Digest Magazine, prices that are tres reasonable!!! Did I mention the food?...do try the Caesar Salad!!! We're always looking for that perfect place to bring people, right? This is it! These guys got it right when they created with this place. Can't wait to go back!

A friend of mine told me about this place, telling me it was a super chic, gay-friendly, restaurant with amazing food and excellent service. He was right! I brought someone on a date there and really needed to make a good first impression. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was recommended by our waiter, and both had entrees which were also our waiter recomendations. I honestly cant remember the last time I went out to eat and had such a great dining experience. The food was amazing and our waiter really made us feel very welcomed. Thank you 44 1/2 for helping me make such a great first impression!

I will now be going to 44 1/2! We just had a fabulous brunch with terrific bloody marys. I had an omelette with tomatos, asparagus and goat cheese and my boyfrind had the filet mignon sandwich- both were excellent! We can't wait to return for dinner!

Aside from great decor and excellent food, the staff is outstanding helping make this an ideal dining atmosphere. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to catch a quick drink or a Sunday brunch. You won't be disappointed.

Went for a drink and decided to stay for dinner. Our waiter was an absolute doll. Helpful, fun, personable. The food was really good. Had the tuna appetizer and loved it. I'm neurotic about lighting and they have it down to a science there.
