Best burger I ever had
My husband and I went to this place after reading the reviews on MenuPages and it was well worth it! I was in the mood for a burger and the onion infused burger turned out to be one of the best I've ever had, plus I ate half of my husband's mac and cheese because it was fantastic too. The service was great - very friendly and overall we loved the experience and definitely will return, though we don't live in the neighborhood.

Surprise! Surprise!
I was strolling down Greenwich Avenue last Sunday with an old friend and we noticed this cute little spot. We decided to stop in for a little brunch. A very nice lady with a great smile showed us to the back of the restaurant which opened into this suprise garden. It was adorable. We were delighted to be seated in such a pretty place where we enjoyed Bellini's, Monkey Bread, and some teriffic French Toast with strawberries. It was so good and the people there so nice, ...we came back that very night with another friend and had dinner there...Artichoke salad and the best steak I've had in years. I'm gonna try and max out on this place before the rest of NYC finds out about it.

Simply Great!
This is a "word of mouth" kind of place since the owners have done their best to keep a relatively low profile while they develop this restaurant the old fashioned way - thru hard work, dedication, producing great food and welcoming hospitable service. And not thru PR machines, hype and celebrity chefs...that are meant to draw you in. I know this because I got to meet the owners ...who I noticed were there each time I dropped in. The food is solid...The steak is excellent ..especially with my favorite side..sauteed mushrooms...accompanied with a bottle of Stags Leap Merlot., which incidently, I was delighted to see on the sensibly priced wine list. I travel all over and dine extensively and I love this place. Try it...you'll agree.

Jones Food Thoughts
New York is a second home to me, so when I heard about the mac and cheese at JonesI just had to bring my friends to try it. We were greeted by the nice owner of Jones and shown to our table early in the evening. There was one other table occupied. We ordered dinner from an indifferent waiter with an attitude. Our dinner took over 1 hour to come to the table. The service was poor to say the least. We asked about the food three times and were told by the manager that the kitchen was working as fast as it could! Ok, remember there was no one in the place! We were then told that the home-made potato chips were holding up the order. Finally, the food came. The macaroni and cheese was awesome, the hamburgers amazing, and the chicken Jones to die for. But the service...extremely poor! Our waiter appeared only to collect the money for the check. So if you have 3 hours to dine, the by all means try Jones!

Mac and Cheese a Must
Make sure to check out the back area lounge- hot little spot. The service is amazing and the food is just as good.

Delicious!
Jones was recommended to us by a friend. The food, atmosphere, and service are all excellent. I will keep going back until I try everyone on the menu, but the scallops are some of the best I have had. I love the atmosphere of Jones, and can't wait to try it for brunch. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone I can.

Secret Garden
We stumbled across this charming restaurant last week and when we peeked in the back we found this little shady garden and Santana's Moonflower playing in the background. Jones is only 6 months old and I think I've found a new stomping ground - This place is Great! The food is perfect and accessible - The steak was amazing - the people that run it so nice and the garden will be just where I'm going to hang this Summer.
