easily one of the best brunches in the city definitely in the running for the top bloody mary. the dinner menu is healthy, eclectic new american and the beer and wine list is solid, yet not too expensive. service is definitely the star here. after one or two visits the owners will have you feeling like regulars who have been eating there for years.

We'd walked by the place wanting to try it and finally did.. went for Mother's Day brunch and weren't seated right away and when we were it was with attitude. The food was very mediocre - not worth what they charge, which isn't exorbitant but not cheap. The mac and cheese was runny, the pancakes tasted burnt, the steak and eggs strangely seasoned and lacking flavor. The monkey bread may have been the only good part. Any questions we asked the waitress throughout the meal and she looked at us like we had two heads. Not worth your well-earned dollars.

Just a note to thank 41 Greenwich Avenue. We had messed them around on the reservation, and turned up without 4 people we had booked for, but they did not murmur and delivered up superb steak, beautiful sides, and great value and unusual (for USA) wine. The waitresses were great, and cool. Loved it. A real flavour of Greenwich for some Brit tourists. Cracking bar next door too!

Went here for dinner on a Saturday night with some girlfriends. I was surprised at how tiny the place was - which accounted for our 40 minute or so wait on our 8:00 reservation. No worries though, the hostess (who I'm sure was one of the owners) was very apologetic and gave us some free drinks - can't complain about that. Dinner was very good - I had the onion infused burder which was huge and delicious. Also ordered was the salmon and lobster mac and cheese. Can't attest to the salmon, but the mac and cheese was delicious. Side dishes of brussels sprouts and cauliflower could have had more flavor. They have a very nice wine list and some interesting cocktails - the pomegranate martini being my drink of choice. Dessert was pretty forgettable - just mostly some home-made ice creams, fruit, and a brownie sundae (which you could tell was microwaved). I was surprised by how empty the restaurant got after we sat down - and leaving at 10:30 we were the second to last table to leave. Guess they have a mostly early dinner crowd. All in all, though, a very enjoyable night from a solid place.

Had dinner with 10 friends here before the holidays. The atmosphere is so cozy and every single person in our party loved their food. Crab cakes, tuna tartar, and the clams especially stand out in my mind as being outstanding. I'll be back here again and again.

This restaurant is a great find. I have been thrilled with everything I have tried so far on the menu. They make amazing sauces The butterscotch sauce on the waffles is so good I could order a bowl of it and eat it with a spoon.

We had a private party for 35+ at this restaurant and it was awesome. Jay the owner was very accomodating and responsive. Angela and the other members of the staff were very attentive/friendly and handled the crowd smoothly. I thought the food was excellent and everyone had a great time in a cozy enviornment. I would highly recommend this place for couples to groups. It's a great find in the neighborhood. If you're tired of the trendy, pretentious, scenie places and want great food, great atmosphere, and friendly service, you should try this place.
