French Fries...
If you think this place is a good value, just order the fries. Frozen french fries with seasoning powder are hardly worth $10. I was ok with coming to this place to hang and even buy a few drinks but when the bartenders include the tip in the price of drinks bought at the bar - thats horrible - they do not tell you that the gratuity is included in the price and expect another tip on top of the overpriced watered down drinks. If I wanted to pay $10 for a cup of ice I would go to Yankee Stadium! I love Jay Z but there are a bunch of poor bartenders and managers working there... My advice - eat and get drunk at home and then go to 40/40 - No Cover Charge!!

Career Move
i disagree with you meng..you cant judge Jay-z on how his club was ran!..its the managers that need da blame..the women there looked phenomenal and the drinks were outstanding.im actually a bartender myself and im dropping off my resume today and i will CONSIDER your complaint and hope to move up in there and do something about it or atleast voice my opinion or just to do the best job i can possibly do!

Time wasted at 40/40 NY
This was a whole lot of hype and you get nothing in return but an empty wallet. The service was terrible, the place was empty and we waited 1 hour for the first round of drinks, the food I just didn't under stand. It was frozen food made to look appealing. And the Drinks don't get me started. And this was for a bachelorette party. I was embarrassed. We told the managers and they claimed that they would do something and even made us wait, while they "cleaned a section in VIP," to make up for the bad experience, 1 hour later with no seating and no further acknowledgement we left. I would not recommend this club to anyone. It's a whole lot of hype with nothing in return. I liked Jay-Z before the visit, what he has representing him changes my whole perspective, his club is WACK and so is HE.
