    Best Thai food in NYC

35 is by far the best Pad Thai in the city that we have tried, and trust me, we have tried a lot of places. We live uptown and go down to 35 everytime we want Pad Thai because nothing we have found compares to it. You have to try the Tom Kha soup - it is pure white heaven. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, usually candlelit at night and never crowded- a nice place for conversation over dinner. The service is fine and unassuming, we have never had any negative experiences. The value is very good for Pad Thai in Manhattan ($7.95 to $9.95), although some of the other dishes are a bit pricier. The portions are generous on the entrees, although I would not recommend ordering the spring rolls- they only give you two small rolls and it is not worth the price. This restaurant is a hidden gem on a side street. If you like good Pad Thai, check it out and try the Tom Kha soup, you won't regret it.

    unpleasant

The Pad Thai is done with what tastes like ketchup, soups are flavorless, portions are small. Why eat here when there are so many good restaurants to choose from?

    Very Authentic

My fifth trip to NY but first time eating here. I thought it was very good, the food tastes very fresh and flavourful. We had Pad Thai and House Special Curry and both were awesome, dinner for three was under $35 with an appetizer. Clean and quiet restaurant, good for people who love Asian food but want to avoid dirty Chinatown. Would definitely eat here again.

    Really good Thai delivery

Ordered from here a few times recently (delivery only, haven't been there) The food's really good I think. I think their Thai fried rice is delicious, and the sauteed veggies too. Have yet to try other things but I'm looking forward to. Delivery fast aswell.

Food is Decent, but Mediocre Appetizer Portions and Bad Customer Service

Ordered some appetizers. Yes Thai Iced Tea shouldn't cost 3 dolllars but its pretty much standard across the board even though its just tea sugar and condensed milk Spring Rolls 4 bucks. Good and Crispy but 4 is passable for the price. Even though you can get them for 3 dollars somewhere else. "Jumbo" wings. $6.50 Complete Rip Off. Tiniest wings I've ever seen. Get some from Mooncake for 5.50 and they pack more flavor and size and you'll see the difference. They gave me 3 drummettes and 3.5 Wings One Wing was missing about half the meat because whoever chopped it can't hold a cleaver. Called and complained. Didn't offer to send one order immediately and tried to say these were Jumbo. And said they'd give me an extra order next time. Yeah ok that's just a way to say I don't want to deal with you. I rather not be a stickler but I also rather not tell people what they should do to keep a customer. Not going to order from them again. Shoddy service, mediocre food portions for 15 bucks. I can get an awesome Fried Chicken Dinner at Chat n Chew and have leftovers for the next day.

    best real thai food

I am a very harsh critic of Thai food being that I grew up eating it at home all my life and been to Thailand several times. This is the best Thai food I've had in NYC so far. The portions are not ginormous like americans are used to but I was very full and satisfied. Um helllooooooo ...it's called Thai food aka SPICY. if you don't want it spicy then get items on the menu without the little chili logo next to it. The dishes were authentic and the ingredients were very fresh. Not greasy, oily, fatty. These are the kinds of dishes that you would find in Thailand, really great stuff!!!
