Lousy service with no apology!
My waiter brought the check shortly after serving me - then disappeared! I never saw him again & I was sitting where I had to get up to get anyone's attention. I just needed a to-go box! I went up front & by the time I got back they were cleaning my table despite the fact I had asked them not too! I complained & the person I complained to practically laughed in my face - and gave no apology. Never again! They have lost a customer, but clearly didn't care enough to even apologize for the non-existent service.

Great Burgers
They have great burgers and fries, as well as gyros. The burgers taste like whoppers and aren't so huge that you might vomit after you're done eating it. Order them with raw onions, if that's your thing. It's so good. The fries are spectacular and what really have me going back to 3 Star as opposed to the 100s of other diners in the area. Crisp, salty, and very, very flavorful.

Irish Breakfast
I found this restaurant on the web while looking for a 24 hour diner. On NY Holloween night (Sat. eve to Sunday morning) the place was full of typical New Yorkers out for the evening. The "Irish Breakfast" was enough for two or three people, with 3 eggs, various sausages and potatoes and toast and more. The service was just right. The food was just great. If you can't find it on the menu you haven't read it. 3 Star is a 4 Star place. Tom S. Winter Park, Florida

Always a friendly face
3 Star Diner is such a great place with such great people. Even people-watching alone is interesting. It's a family own establishment where they recognize you the second you come in your second time dining with them. Nice people. Oh, and they have good lobster bisque.

a favorite
Their specials are great-- you get a big salad, a nice cup of soup, a main course, potato, veggies and sometimes a glass of wine. Most of the staff is nice and speedy

My Favorite Diner
I grew up on the Upper Eastside, so this may come off bias, but I don't care! 3 Star is wonderful coffee shoppe and I highly recommend them. Not only do they have the best diner food in the area but their staff has got friendliest I've encountered - a fine family! Whether you're having Sunday brunch or late night afterhour burger, 3 Star is that way to go!

Awesome!
The first time I went there it was great! The waiters are all nice, the food was delicious and it came in like 4 minutes! I have been going there for a long time and it is always great! They even decorate it for fun holidays like Halloween and Easter! Also it's open for like 24/7! Like when I saw a broadway play at night and I was hungry they were open; even at 11:00 at night! Awesome!
