3 Guys Restaurant

I have been occassionally when in the UES (which I try to avoid), and have to yet to witness anyone to see or be seen except of bunch of pseudo intellectual phonies and old people. 3 guys is indicative of how drab and over rated UES establishments can be. If it's simply a rich man's eatery, at least give us rich man quality. If the weather is nice you can walk around the corder to Soup N' Burger which cost about the same but has much, much better food. (place to see and be seen, give me a break).

... those of you going on and on about the value etc... are blind to the truth. Three Guys is a rich man's diner and the UES place to see and be seen on saturdays and sundays. Schools girls head their after school in their uniforms to order 15 dollar french fries, and the potential ivy leaguers are in attendance religiously on weekends during study breaks. That being said, the food is amazing albeit overpriced, but owning a diner mid 70's on madison avenue can't be cheap. If the price is what bothers you, you're going for the wrong reasons and stop commenting on it.

As I live two blocks away, have been back reluctantly several times. Always the same -- really below-average food, whether brkfst, lunch or dinner, and far over-priced.

The food here is extremely expensive. 2 main course dishes cost around 55 dollars. The waiters are friendly and the food comes mildly fast. The chicken marsala and the chicken parmesan are great! If you are going to have take out, ask them for their house dressing, it's AMAZING!!!

Good all round , food atmosphere, service. Why would you want to go anywhere else.

...could an average diner get prices as horrifying as this. Portions are small, extrodinarily expensive and the prices seem to change. Whenever I try to calculate in my head what the bill is going to be, it somehow manages to be at least ten dollars more! There's always crowded because of the location so I'm sure the food is fresh due to a large turnover. But there's really no reason to go there in a city with as many restaurants as there are.
