I used to love the old original 2nd Avenue delicatessen at Tenth Street and Second Avenue. Sadly that location is presently a Citibank branch. Everything went in the tank when they moved out of that location.

this is New York and I am not sure the prices are that different from the old restaurant. I only had a few things, so I can only comment that the Pastrami is great (order lean), excellent matza ball soup, the pickles and coleslaw are also my favourites. T

Have eaten here several times. Always delicious. The portions are very large and filling. I recommend arriving hungry. They have a big menu but everything from the roast beef to the french toast is excellent! You can't go wrong.
