Excellent food and great service. The staff bends over backwards to making your visit a pleasurable experience. We had mushroom barley soup like mother used to make, corned beef, brisket, pastrami - loads of calories but well worth it.

Couldn't wait til it opened in my neighborhood. what a disappointment! food ordinary and they rushed us out of there so fast, I didn't even get to finish my sandwich. never again!

Had half a sandwich and soup for lunch...the sandwich was a combo. add an iced tea (no refills) Cost me over $34 with tip. Ridiculous. I had the same sandwich...a wholeE one, a bigger bowl of soup and dessert and drink in Florida for $10.89. Now I know the real estate is more, but this is waaaay out of line.

Apparently they don't use their own delivery service. I ordered matzah ball soup and they gave me chicken broth. When I called to tell them they said credit account and hung up. Called back and just got yes'd to death. 1:20 min later no soup and called back they rattled off some number and told me they were at a secret location and couldn't help. Second ave deli should be ashamed. PLUS they have no other number or another way to get my order correct. Don't waste your money on this place. The corn beef sandwich sucked too.

I find the prices reasonable and the quality consistently good throughout. Not sure how anyone can think that this place is not one of the top kosher delis in the city.

I have been here a couple of times and both times had very good meals. I haven't deviated from the basics, soup, sandwich, fries but it is a very good, classic deli. Is it the same as the original? No, but they did a good job with it. The service has been friendly, the waits are short. If you are in the mood for deli, give it a shot. As for the price, a big bowl of soup and half a sandwich plus pickles and coleslaw for $15 is very fair. The half sandwich is double the size of most regular sandwiches. This isn't boar's head deli.

They must have neogitated really bad terms on that abandoned bar on 75th street guessing by the prices they are charging. Just not even close to worth it. Also, min delivery charge is $15, although that should not be a problem as that is what 1/2lb of turkey is. Throw in $3 for a can of soda and there you go.
