This tiny place is a virtual trip to a neighborhood Parisian cafe; nice portions, classic dishes; extremely attentive service and cooking. Always consistent and a great bang for your buck. Steak au poivre; escargot always excellent.

While the restaurant is sort of small and cramped (the waitress had to move the table out for me to slide into my seat, and I am not exactly big!), the rest of the atmosphere is really nice. The prices are really reasonable (my appetizer, main course, dessert AND wine came to about $40). I had the salad with apples, which was huge, and could have been its own meal. My friend had the pate, which he seemed to like. For the main, I had the salmon, which again was a huge portion and very good. I ordered dessert, the chocolate mousse, and it was really great and rich but I was so full I couldn't finish it. I also had a nice glass of wine. I would suggest making reservations because the restaurant is so small and was packed throughout our entire meal.

I think that this is defiantly one of the best-valued restaurants in the city. It is a rather small place with nice music and atmosphere. You can actually talk to your friends with out the need to shout (like you do in most places). The food is great and priced fairly.
