    Sweet Looking Rest.

Went here yesterday with a friend of mine for an early dinnner. We opted to sit in the garden, which was really nice. We decided to make a meal out of the appetizers, We each had the crab fritters, the BBQ ribs, and shared a mac& cheese. The fritters were really good, the ribs too, I wasn't too crazy about the mac & cheese. I've had better. For dessert we shared the coconut creme brulee, also really good. And I also have to say our waitress couldn't have been more helpful or nicer. All in all I had a really nice time at this restaurant and would go back.

    Not worth it

Teeny tiny portions and not worth it. We walked away after lunch and were so hungry we went to Pinkberry.

    More Hits than misses

Since my daughter is a huge "Top Chef" fan, and she got me into the show this year, we decided to go for her birthday. Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant and food. This is truly comfort food, so don't expect bold flavors and exotic dishes. Most of the dishes were very good, but a few fell short. The flatbreads and mac cheese roll appetizers were both excellent appetizers. The entrees were probably the weakest part of the meal. I LOVED my meat loaf, except for the BarBQ sauce the other 3 entrees were just OK..a bit on the bland side--dinner salad, pot pie chicken and tuna. The deserts were fabulous..we shared the ice cream sandwich and a deep fried peanut butter cake. Wine and beer selection is very good. I thought the prices were reasonable for all items, and I loved the relaxing vibe. Now here's what really made our evening..I asked the waiter if Nikki could come out and say hello, and just before desert she did..and was very charming (and very attractive), and spent a good 5 minutes talking with me and my family. So I wouldn't go running back given all the fabulous restaurants in the city, but if I was in the area and wanted a light meal of a few appetizers, drinks and desert, I'm sure I'd have a good time. Added to our special night

My wife and I went here as Nikki was our "fan favorite" on Top Chef. We liked her on the show and since we were visiting NYC for our anniversary, we thought we would give it a try. We had hoped to meet Nikki that night, but she had been called away for some Top Chef promotional gig. Since she knew it was our anniversary she instructed the maitre de to take care of us. And that is exactly what Kile did - he was expecting us at the door and did not let up all night. We couldn't have been happier with the staff / service. I'm a comfort food junkie, so the menu was perfect for me - we truly enjoyed the Crispy Mac and Cheese Rolls served with melted Gouda dipping sauce - dipping cheese into cheese - how f'in amazing is that? Additionally, we really enjoyed the Meat Loaf coated in BBQ sauce and wrapped in filo dough. Simple eats - inexpensive by NYC standards pricing and amazing staff - truly a memorable night.

    Underwhelming, over priced

I went for brunch with my husband. We loved the outdoor seating. The drinks were good (but overpriced) the food was nothing special. We spent $95 for 4 drinks, 2 main dishes and a bread basket (otherwise there are no sides with the baked eggs). Insane for brunch!

I am a big TOP CHEF fan

I went to 24 Prince last week with 2 friends and was excited to find out that nikki from top chef was the chef there. After drinking a pear pop each we decided to share some small plates. Best crab fritter ever and the ribs very tasty but the pear salad was the winner of the night. We will be back to try some of the other dishes and i can't wait to see nikki on top chef this week.

    small and salty :(

im only writing this because the food has gone downhill and im hoping someone will see this and tell the owner. the $11 Fennel, Orange And Grilled Radicchio salad had one tiny peice of fennel, and the dressing was SO SALTY i actually couldnt eat it (and i love salt). not to mention, the portion was beyond tiny, especially for $11. same with the Orecchiette. too salty!
