    Good Lunch Spot

    Had the prix fixe for $24 and it was a true delight. Though the restaurant was totally empty when I walked in at 12:04pm and totally empty when I walked out around 1:00, the food was excellent, staff friendly and the overall value was good. Started with the Caesar Salad (7 out of 10), followed by the Chicken Fricasee (8 out of 10) and ended the lunch with a great rasberry custard (8 out of 10). Custard was tiny but satisfying. I will go there again.

    let down

    This is not a good restaurant. The vodka bar has one redeeming quality, hot bartenders. other than that, the food is average, the price is outrageous and if you order one of their "fine" vodka's make sure you watch them pour. they are in the habit of pouring the house liquors if you are dining away from the bar. management is precocious and snotty. if you want an overcrowded, overpriced, average to inferior experience, this place is your bet. otherwise try another spot!

    Great Delivery

    I am surprised to see negative reviews below. I always get top service and the food is delicious. In fact, I like the food so much that I get frequent deliveries even though it is pricey.

    New Year's Eve Dinner

    Went here for New Year's Eve last year. It was a big disappointment. Our waitress was rude and slow. She ended up being fired right after it took forty minutes to get our drinks. The manager told us that they were on the house, but when the bill came he charged us for them! When we got our second waiter he was not much better. Overall the food was horrible, the service was horrible, and they ruined my New Year's Eve! Skip this place!

    Tres Pretentious

    Went here with some friends and was truly looking forward to it. But as soon as we walked in the door...my hopes were dashed. The snobby French manager was far from cordial. The bartender was one of the rudest Ive ever encountered. Service was lousy. The food was good but the overall experience was bad. My advice....don't go.

    Poor Service

    After being shuffled from one tiny table (meant for two people, despite our reservation for three) to another, we were finally seated at a third table capable of comfortably seating our party. We were not so promptly greeted by an incompetent, rude waitress who insisted on calling everyone in our party "sweetheart" throughout the evening - she also added a 20% gratuity to the bill, even though we only had a party of three (and the bill stated at the bottom that only parties of eight or more would automatically be charged gratuity). Upon alerting her to this, she said that she was trying to "protect herself" but could take if off if we (insert big sigh here) really wanted her to. We did. Although the atmosphere could be cool, the table of 10 screaming 13 year old girls - braces included - detracted from any potential ambience. The food is decent enough (particularly the sirloin burger and the phenomenal nutella crepe dessert), but its not worth being treated condescendingly by maitre'd, coat check workers and servers alike and putting up with hordes of under age upper east siders who think they're uber hip 25 year olds.

    Didn't love it-

    We were really looking forward to this place and really wanted to like it... Even w/ a reservation we had to wait 40 minutes for a table-food was not great- the salmon was not only small but fishy. The atmosphere was fine and the music was good (although we literally had to scream to hear across the table) the crowd left a lot to be desired. Thought the bar scene would be happening but it was empty- def. a place past it's prime and the food is certainly not worth the money.
