    don't go for bubble tea

We went here for two nights exclusively for bubble tea and had four different flavors. It was the worst bubble tea I've ever had. It really was poorly made, there were white specks in the ice which persisted in the drink, the flavors tasted awful and there wasn't nearly enough tapioca in there. Plus, for the price, I was expecting better. I went back thinking I had had bad luck in choosing a couple bad flavors but no, it's actually bad. Their food might be good, I don't know, but the bubble tea is really bad.

    good!

the best dumplings in the area and I've tried most of them. The food quality is good and they deliver quickly and remember the sauces you asked for, which is rare.

    Good quality for decent prices

Living in the neighborhood, I've tried a bunch of different Chinese restaurants, and Home's is one of the best. Nice, diverse menu, fresh veggies, friendly service, and the prices aren't too steep. I've never dined in, so I can't speak to that, but here's my opinion: Pros: Sauces aren't too sticky, sweet, and overpowering, the roast pork is mmm mm tasty, the brown rice isn't gloppy or chewy, my food wasn't oily, but light and fluffy, and the dinner specials for $8.50 are pretty tough to be. Cons: the salad comes with thousand island dressing (yeeesh. really?) where an asian-style dressing might be nice, the portions, at least for delivery, aren't as big as some of the other places in the neighborhood. But that said, for the high quality of the food, I don't mind getting a bit less. This is MUCH better than most nondescript Chinese restaurants in Gramercy/Flatiron.

    Best sesame chicken ever!

I have not been here before, but I ordered delivery, and aside from a very very fast delivery, the sesame chicken and beef are amazing!

    Finally back to normal

OK so my last review was not very good. I decided to give them a try again. I am glad I did. The General's chicken I ordered was great, the 10 ingredient fried rice was excellent. So I tried them again today. General again is great, and chicken fried rice is also very good. Thanks for getting back to normal!!

    Bread Nuggets

General Tso's, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Sesame Chicken = Bread Nuggets. The delivery was super fast. Lo mein and wonton soup are definitely a staple here. I'd recommend this place for those who like fast delivery and anything that wouldn't be breaded because you will end up eating "bread nuggets" that consist of bread and no meat.

Delivered food going down in quality

I have been in the area for over 20 years, this was one of my favourite chinese restaurants to get delivery to my office and home. But since they changed the food is not the same. They used to have an awesome sweet & sour chicken. Now is puff pastry with maybe a bit of chicken in the middle, before they were large pieces nicely breaded, sauce is still good. As for the General's chicken it also seems the same, taste is fine but bitting into it is definately not the same. I agree with the too much oil comment made before. In the past 2 weeks I have ordered 3 times from them, I am trying another place next time I want chinese.
