I recently came here with a large group of people for a work event. Not only was the restaurant perfect for our needs (something for everyone, great service, etc - basically agree with exactly what everyone else says), but also the owner Chris was so nice and easy to work with. With less than 1 day notice, he set us up with the whole back area, plus was accomodating in terms of timing and very attentive to our tables. I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning any kind of work get-together (lunch/birthday/goodbye/etc).

I've been eating at 2 rivers for a couple of years and have always had not only a great time and great food but the staff treats you like you are the only one there! it's always got a full house and yet they manage to take the best care of their guests. it's like old world, they know your name and what you like to drink. try the cobb salad and the burgers... well i can go on about the various dishes but any one will be a fantastic tasty experience.

Not the same high end atmosphere and food that you'd find at let's say ecco, but i was impressed with the overall quality. Prices were reasonable. Pasta was cooked right.

Not only is the food good and the drinks flow.......the staff is great! Its a one of those NY best kept secrets

I ate at 2 Rivers for the first time last week after walking by it many times. I can't tell you how suprised I was to find out that it was an adorable restaurant with great food. It was almost like a relaxed French Bistro inside. I had the Brooklyn Broiler and it was fantastic. They also had some amazing wines for about half the price you would normally pay in any other restaurant. I will be making 2 Rivers a regular place for lunch for me and my co-workers.

Who knew that what looks like a hole-in-the-wall bar on the outside could have such a romantic atmosphere inside! The food was excellent, the wine was superb, and the bartender/waiter was extremely personable. It was definitely worth a Saturday evening subway ride to get there. We had two specials - lemon chicken on a bed of very, very fresh spinach - and grilled chicken with pine nuts and crumbled bleu cheese on a huge bed of mesclun salad. Every bite was a taste of heaven!

We have been intending to try 2 Rivers for quite some time and finally did this evening. It was excellent -- across the board. It is a cozy place with great food and equally great service. We will be going back often.
