Dollar Pizza!
The best place for a quick and cheap slice. $1 each, can't go wrong.

Pick up your phone
Unless it's 2am, your drunk and happen to be in front of 2 Brothers, forget this place. At a buck a slice it's a great value, but you get what you pay for. The pizza is hit or miss and is often under cooked. They never pickup the phone to take delivery orders. If you like soggy, lack luster pizza with tasteless sauce. You happen to have only 1 dollar in pennies to your name, then dig in!

Straight Talk
Let me talk to you straight. This place is cheap. I mean really cheap. Where else in the East Village are you gonna find a dollar slice? That's right, folks. Dollar slice. Across the street, Pizzanini sells an arguably less tasty slice for $2.75. You can get two slices and a soda for $2.50 at 2 Brothers. It's a no-brainer. (edit: since the publication of this review, Pizzanini has changed their price to a dollar. Capitalism at its best, folks. The consumer wins). Don't get me wrong, it's no Di Fara's slice, it's no Artichoke slice, but it's got all the fundamentals of a good slice and I can't recommend this neighborhood shop enough. Also, I got two of their pies during the 2008 Giants Super Bowl victory, so.
