very authentic tapas!
i went here with my girfriend the other night i felt like i was back in Barcelona! great tapas, great wine, and a very cool vibe. To comment on the slow service in the review below...the slow service is what makes this place authentic as thats how the service is in spain, never in a rush and take the time to enjoy life

Great Environment, Slow Service
The food here is good, not great and there are more interesting tapas places in the area. The environment is very festive, but the service leaves something to be desired. The place was packed though, so maybe we just had a random experience. Probably won't try it again.

sweet reception
Some good friends of mine had their wedding reception at 1492, and I have to say- they killed it! The food was endless and very good, my glass was never once empty, good music, and the staff treated us as if we were family. Good job!

the little tapas that could!
this place is the ultimate spot for the cutting edge espionage! the place exudes nothing but savory food, a sufficient wine list, music, and an random wink or two from the cute table occupant next to you! Hi fives all the way!

great patio
we went and had a wonderful meal and drinks, great selections of tapas and desserts, Almond cake was great and the wait staff are dry humor but fun.

food is not bad but service is poor
I've been here a few times for either happy hour or dinner on Saturday. Every time I go the tapas dishes are usually pretty good but the bar and wait staff tend to be rude and give the impression that they really don't care about you being there. I don't understand that considering that most other places around there have staff that is pretty laid back. Anyway, I doubt I'll go back since it's not worth it to me anymore.

Not good
Overpriced, inauthentic and rude service. We ordered cheese, served weeks past its prime, presented as if it came out of cheap cafeteria. The jerez was weak. Tapas was only marginally better. Inexcusable.
