    Good food

We have been going to this restaurant and ordering for delivery for the past several years. It's a good menu (seafood, steaks, sushi, more) and most of the time (with very few exceptions) the food is well prepared and presented. They have their own cuisine, with cajun and creole accents -- but don't expect regulation cajun or creole. You can order your food simply grilled with no special flavors, too. There is the occasional miss -- but we've had those at much more expensive restaurants as well. The servers are young, intelligent, and nice -- not the obnoxious sycophantic (or snobbish) professionals that you get at the fancier restaurants. There is jazz music on Saturdays. Not for people who like opulence (real or fake).

Good value, dependable for deliveries and on location service

I live in the neighborhood and my family and I have been eating at and ordering in from 107 West for years. The ambiance used to be geared towards families, but a couple years ago renovations made the restaurant great for a younger crowd and date nights as well. The food holds its own when delivered and the quality is very good. The range of menu items means there is an option for everyone. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

    Not recommended

I have ordered from this restaurant for 4+ years and have had a few complaints over the years. Every complaint one makes is treated with hostility and instead of being apologetic and correcting the mistake, they blame the customer! A few nights ago, I ordered my wings extra crispy, super well done. The order taker, repeated my exact order back to me, but when the wings arrived they were soft and sticky, clearly under cooked. I put them in stove and cooked them further. When I called the restaurant,my server said, "we thought they would be too dry if we cooked them more." They ignore your requests. I think it is time to say farewell. They should appreciate their customers more. We are not at fault for requesting that our food is prepared a certain way. Isn't that their job??

This Food is Not Cajun or Creole

Being from New Orleans, I am particularly offended by this restaurant's claim on Creole / Cajun cuisine. The menu description was a forewarning of the dismal food: Jambalaya with cajun rice and Corn Etouffee and spicy sauce. Cajun rice, corn Etouffee? They don't exist back home. And if they did, they wouldn't be in Jambalaya. Etouffee is a stand-alone dish. Against my intuition, I tried it, anyway. The meal was perhaps closer to paella, but I do not want to insult Spain, because beyond not being authentic, the food was absolutely lacking in flavor. And the purported andouille sausage was no such thing. The atmosphere was nice; too bad the food isn't. I would have gone to this place again despite it not being authentic if the food were good, but it is not. I'm calling the LA National Guard out to occupy this place and shut it down.

    mish mash...

good ambiance, pleasant service, but the peculiar menu (mixing different cuisine in an unsuccessful way) and the very poorly executed dishes are a miss. Sushi dishes below standards. not going back.

Good food, good value, laid-back ambience

We've been going here for years. The food is good, with a surprisingly "upscale" presentation, and the comforting menu is eclectic. My favorites are the Jambalaya, the Mesquite BBQ Chicken Breast and all the seafood specials. The service is friendly and attentive, the prices reasonable. This is our default place in the 'hood.

    Cajun-ish

This place is well thought out but needs less seafood for the non seafood lovers. their soups always contain some type and it leaves nothing for the non seafood eater. but everything is always very well put together. 4.5 def!
