save yourself the grief
Decided to hit this local neighborhood spot. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait. 1.2 hours later, I was seated with my guest. If your looking for a quiet chill place, this is not your spot. Ordered food, anther 40 min. It was pretty bland and the salad wasn't that fresh, when we asked the waitress for something else, after a bunch of back n forth, I got a pizza, it had no flavor. Very disappointing. Save yourself the hassle, don't bother.

Fantastic Place!
Cute italian restaurant! Food it great, service is great, the ambiance is to die for I love it there. The drawbacks are that the quantity is really not sufficient. You pay a lot for a small amount but it's worth it in the end, the food is excellent. Worth going to, the staff is very hospitable. I like it there a lot, enjoy!

I Love Them - Young and Fun
The only complaints you can make is about the wait. I go there once or more a month. All guests have loved the food. Sauces are the best in NY. Very young and contemporary. Be ready to wait 20 or more minutes so you have to know which days and times to go. You will not regret the visit. Noisy - like all other tight NY restaurants - but who talks when you are eating delicious food!

Good Food, Not Worth the Wait
My husband and I went with another couple on a Saturday night. When we called, they said they do not take reservations but the wait is usually about 5-10 minutes. This was not the case! We stood by the door, squished and freezing for at least a half hour. And this was not even so late. When we left at about ten thirty, the crowd waiting by the door had grown quite large. The food was quite good. However, in my opinion, it was outweighed by the not so pleasant wait.

Yuuuuuummy!
I have been to Noi Dui again and again with my girlfriends and on dates. This place is delicious. I've tried a bunch of their plates and have never been disappointed. The staff is also the friendliest bunch, not your typical waiters. The only downside is that because the restaurant is very popular, it's often crowded and noisy. Makes it hard to hear the person sitting across from you sometimes. The wait time can also long in the evenings.

Great food, abysmal service
On the plus side: calling a day in advance for a party of 11 helped us secure a table with a minimal wait -- they don't take reservations but the advanced notice helped; food was excellent Downside: goal of restaurant: get you sat, get you fed, get you out (the last two not necessarily mutually exclusive); waiter berated my kids for being loud in a very loud restaurant; they started cleaning my table even before we were finished; I complained to the waiter about his service, and the manager -- like talking to two walls; loved the food, but you dine for the experience, not just to get in your 3rd meal of the day; will NOT return

Long wait, poor service
There is always a wait, even early in the evening on a typically quiet night. They do not take reservations and there is no area to wait, so people are stuck waiting by the door feeling cramped and sometimes even outside on the stairs. We were in line first, but were given a poorer table because as we overheard the maƮtre d say, the people behind us were "big spenders". The food was so-so, but we were given our check while we were still eating and rushed out. As we were leaving other people also complained of the same thing...overall really poor service.
