Value & great service
I lived in the area for over two decades and have eaten at Morning Star for over one. The food is always fresh, the servers are very attentive and your order served as requested, you never have to ask your server to have your coffee refilled. They will check the amount in your cup and ask your first if you would like some more. I highly recommend this diner for food quality, pricing and exceptional service.

Great Diner Food
I love having this diner in the neighborhood. Excellent breakfast food, especially the french toast, with speedy delivery service. My children both love the scrambled eggs/home fries from here and are always thrilled when I say we are ordering or going to Morning Star! They are a perfect neighborhood diner that never disappoints. Although I love it there, they could use an upgrade of the interiors inside the diner.

Consistently good
Very nice diner with pleasant staff and prompt service. Menu has a lot of variety, and it is good basic food that is consistently good. This is the first place I have found in NYC that has a chicken salad sandwich the way I like it. Keep up the excellent food and service!

Best diner in town!
Sooo great--they even named a wrap after me!! Just ask for the Amy Wrap-you won't be disappointed!

OMG, do people actually eat here?
Perhaps the worst burger I have ever had in Manhattan. We were one of just two tables occupied in the place, but we were ignored. We should have just left, but instead we ordered and had a barely edible meal.

A superb cafe on every level
In my world, Morning Star can do no wrong. I feel confident that no matter what I order that the food will be prepared with thought and pride. The food is truly delicious. Whether it is their sandwiches or their dinners, one can expect a great meal. The people on the phone could not be any nicer and delivery arrives in a prompt and timely fashion. Morning Star Cafe is number 1 with me.

Consistently Good Food! (and Best Fries!)
I always order from Morning star and they have never disappointed me. their french fries are the crispiest best french fries around, and they always deliver really fast. They are my go to food delivery in the east 50's! THANK YOU MORNING STAR!
