Burrito es muy caro
This burrito was big and okay, but it way too expensive. It was definitely not worth 17 dollars (soda included). I have to say the atmosphere was like being in a BBQ wings NFL Sunday Budweiser meathead fest. This would be an okay place to get wasted, but if that's not your thing and you just want a nice date, then you should probably go elsewhere.

Best burritos and margaritas!
This is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant on the UES. I havent been to any other blockheads in the area but I'm sure they're all the same. The downside is there is usually a wait because its a small restaurant. Inside it's not at all glamorous or what I would call "nice" but it fits the meal. The burritos are amazing. I havent tried anything else ( other than the quesadilla which i would reccomend) because they are so good. The margaritas are on point and pretty cheap. Service is not the best but didnt ruin our time. Love this place!

I'm sad to be disappointed
Wanted to get some work done this afternoon / evening and had a craving for faux Mexican food delivery. UGH, and I'm not a complainer. The delivery took over 45 minutes. The container of the main portion was open (aka not closed properly) and thus the burrito was COLD. Inside of the burrito there were perhaps 5 tiny bits of salty grilled chicken, and so mainly it was an empty wrap with guac. The side of beans was also COLD. I was thinking this would be a good guilty pleasure, but wow, was I disappointed. Boo :(

Made my day!
Had the best time at block heads on the upper eastside. A co-worker and I went for lunch and our food that was recommened by the server was great and came pretty quickly. I decide to try a bulldog after the manager discribed it as the best thing ever and our server also agreed. He was so right on the mark. What started off as a not so good day turn into a better day after lunch. Your manager made us feel so special by checking up on us and telling us hope the rest of your day gets better. I guess he did listen when we said we had had a bad start to our day. Anyways, you've got me hooked on you now. Thanks a bunch and I'll be back with more friends.

Get the taste out of my mouth! wait what taste?
The only thing that tasted like anything was the mounds and mounds of vegan cheese they stuffed in my burrito. no flavor in the beans or rice, blaw. nothing special, no spices! totally over priced for what it is. and the chips! not even fresh?? thats the best part of mexican food, even tex-mex. least they could have done was have fresh chips. uurgggg oh and the salsa!!! don't get me started. just skip it!

I love blockheads
I love Mexican bulldogs! The super shredded beef burrito is so good as well. I don't know about you, but I love blockheads. Only complaint is that once I was in a group with 6 people and we waited like 2 hours and they didn't even offer compensation and even cut off drinking time. Boooo!
