Most amazing restaurant on Earth
I love love love this place! Everything about it was perfect. I was there with a colleage from work to have a quick drink after work and I loved it. The atmosphere is classy but relaxed, the hostess is very welcoming and beautiful, if I may so without offense, and the tv is perfect to de-stress and just unwind from a long day. I felt so comfortable that I decided to stay for dinner. I had pasta, and it was very very good! Probably the best pasta I have had since I moved here from Florence. Definitely, the best italian in town.

Best Restaurant in NYC
I went here last week with my best friend and her boyfriend and I must say it was an amazing experience. The waiters were all so nice and attentive. They would come by often to check on us but were not disturbing. Then the food came. I had the Parpadelle al Telefono which was unbelivable. As a precursor I had the insalata gloriosa and I became absolutely obsessed. It is a very classy and stylish restaurant. I would definitely go back.

we had good service and good food
2nd time there. Service was quick and efficient. The food was very good with reasonable portions. A little pricey but with two good meals we would come in again to enjoy other dishes

Don't Bother
There are probably over 100 better Italian places than this in NYC. The service is like night of the zombie dead. The only time we saw our waiter was to keep pouring wine and run up the tab. Breadstick wrappers sat on the table all night, only one person had a bread plate-it just goes on and on. The food is also mediocre, and beware-the lobster tagliolini is NOTHING like they picture on their webpage. Do yourself a favor and save a few hundred bucks and go someplace else.

A lot of much better restaurants in NYC
Living in Manhattan, maybe im spoiled. My wife and i eat out about 4 nights a week at all good restaurants. Last night we decided to go to Bice because we knew it would be quiet due to the 100 degree temp and being a Saturday night people would be in the Hamptons or elsewhere. The one thing that really irks me is when a restaurant microwaves my food to warm it up. We ordered some appetizers and a appetizer sized eggplant parm. after that we ordered the cold poached salmon to share. after sending the eggplant parm twice for being cold in the center, yet in a fire hot nuked plate we decided to cancel our Salmon. Pretty place, decent service but a lot better places to go in NYC for a LOT less money.

Never again
We had been to Bice's Orlando branch several times - it was quiet and classy. Went to the NY restaurant Saturday night - noisy kids were all over, including one running around the tables as the staff just watched. Nothing against kids - but for the prices they charge, the place should feel like an upscale restaurant, not a playground. (One couple came in, looked around, then left.) The food wasn't disappointing - the veal & spinach ravioli was pretty good, but charging a whopping $17.50 for a glass of California cabernet left a bad taste in my mouth - I mean, that's just outrageous in this economy. You got us this time, but we won't be back.

pricey but good
My wife and I went for a late lunch on a Saturday, dissapointed there wasn't a lunch menu. She had a soup and salad and I had an Italian dish as an app. With 4 glasses of wine the bill was $120. The soup was home made and excellent, as was the salad. Maybe we'd go back for dinner, knowing it's just pricey. Hey, it's New York.
