I did takeout here today, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. And I don't want to be that girl that just comes on here and complains, but....they said the sandwiches would take 20 min to get to my apt, and it took over an hour and a half. No apology, discount, I had to call several times, and we had to leave and go somewhere and barely had time to wolf the food down. Even though they were delish, I prob wouldn't order from them again.

I love the food at barking dog.. The turkey dinner with Garvey ... Best onion rings ever. But when I got my take out. It was in a big styrofoam container! This is 2012. So bad for the environment please please get some recycled containers.

I knew barking dog was dog friendly and that is why my friend and I went. We were happily surprised to find out their pancakes are amazing! Seriously, money is an issue for us and we are still making this a weekly event until it gets too cold. Their service was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. Everyone else's food looked great and it was like a community outside. Highly recommend the pancakes!

This is a convenient restaurant for e decent meal in the neighborhood. The menu has something for everyone and the preparation is very good. Very interesting and good salads, but watch out for the pineapple cores served to you instead of edible pineapple pieces. The waitress will correct that mistake if you ask. A glass of wine is $10, which is ridiculous for the very low quality "supermarket grade" wines they sell. There isn't an enjoyable bottle in the restaurant, which is a shame for people who drink wine with dinner. For that reason alone I usually go somewhere else. Getting back to the food, it's always fresh and the portions are generous. Try them. And tell them to improve their wine offerings and reduce the wine price.

My son and I just ate at the Barking Dog. We chose a place close to where we were staying as it was raining. So glad we did. The food was very good and the waitress was helpful and friendly. The food was piping hot and flavorful. We would definitely eat here again.

I live around the corner. The Barking Dog is my go-to dine-in or delivery restaurant. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, they never fail to satisfy. The shoe-string fries are my favorite, I order them as a side to everything and anything. The salads are my favorite as well. The meatloaf is probably the best for its price. It's no fast-food joint so don't expect prices to be as such, but the quality of the food and the service are commensurate with the price. I recommend it.

Everything we eat was unappetizing. I'm not kidding. All four of us ordered different items, all said it was disappointing. The turkey burger being the most subpar. Meat was stale, could smell it (the staleness) when you went to take a bite. The 2 salads were poor too, who can go wrong with a salad?Barking Dog! Stay away.
